Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 15th July 2022
Last Updated: 2nd January 2026
1. Welcome
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Marissa Simone Craniosacral Therapy, whether appointments are booked through the website, SumUp Bookings, by telephone, email or in person. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. About Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle complementary therapy that aims to support relaxation, wellbeing and the body’s natural ability to restore balance. It does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency healthcare. You should always continue to follow the advice of your GP, consultant or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
3. Discovery Calls
Discovery Calls provide an opportunity to discuss your concerns, ask questions and determine whether Craniosacral Therapy may be suitable for you or your child. They are provided for information only and do not constitute medical advice or treatment.
4. Booking & Payment
Your appointment is confirmed once you receive confirmation from SumUp Bookings or directly from Marissa Simone. Current fees are displayed at the time of booking and payment is due in accordance with the booking process or as otherwise agreed.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments may be cancelled or rearranged free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice (no-shows), will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of the appointment fee.
Where possible, genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances will always be considered with understanding and compassion, at Marissa Simone’s discretion.
6. Late Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your session may need to finish at the scheduled time to avoid delaying other clients. The full appointment fee will normally still apply.
7. Consent to Treatment
Before treatment begins you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns. By proceeding with treatment you confirm that you consent to Craniosacral Therapy. You are free to withdraw your consent or end a session at any time.
8. Children & Young People
A parent or legal guardian must provide consent for anyone under the age of 18. A parent or responsible adult should normally remain on the premises during the appointment unless otherwise agreed. The wellbeing, dignity and safety of every child and young person will always be the highest priority.
9. Health Information
To help ensure treatment is appropriate and safe, you agree to provide accurate information about your health, medication, pregnancy, recent surgery and any significant changes to your medical history.
10. Suitability for Treatment
On occasion, it may be appropriate to postpone or decline treatment if it is not considered to be in your or your child’s best interests. Where appropriate, you may be advised to seek further medical advice before treatment proceeds.
11. Medical Disclaimer
While many clients find Craniosacral Therapy beneficial, every individual responds differently and no guarantee can be given regarding outcomes. Information provided on the website, during consultations or in written materials is intended for general information and wellbeing only and should not be interpreted as medical advice.
12. Privacy & Treatment Records
Your personal information and confidential treatment records are stored securely and processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Records are retained only for as long as required by legal and professional obligations. For further information about how your personal information is collected, stored and used, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
13. Safeguarding
Marissa Simone is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Where safeguarding concerns arise, appropriate action will be taken in accordance with professional and legal responsibilities.

Photographs, testimonials or case studies will only be used with your explicit permission.
16. Complaints
